"One of The Independent's 50 best spas. 'Located in the gorgeous New Forest this 'green' spa is making great steps in ensuring it has minimal impact on its surroundings… it generates its electricity from wind farms and offers 10 per cent off for guests who travel to the spa car-free."
  The Independent, January 2011

"SenSpa is a beauty, tucked away in the New Forest, with a blissful hydrotherapy pool, several thermal treatments and state-of-the-art showers (try the “tropical storm” setting).  Careys Manor, with huge sofas and excellent service, far exceeds its four-star rating."
The Telegraph Spa Spy, August 2010

“Without exaggeration, I think it is possibly one of the best Spas that I have visited. The treatments and facilities are second to none, the staff are exceptional in their helpfulness and friendliness and the hotel itself was super. As for the food, the Thai restaurant was out of this world - I haven't had Thai food this good - anywhere! The Manor restaurant was comparable to the likes of The Ivy or any Gordon Ramsey that I've visited - and the French Bistro just lovely! As you can tell, we LOVED it."

The Imperial

4 Stars

1 AA rosette

AA Wales Hotel of the Year 2010-2011

Press Comments

"Somehow the Imperial has managed to stay classy without having the character refurbished out of it, which is no mean feat. That means lashings of ornate plasterwork, chandeliers and fleur-de-lys designs all over carpets and walls in public areas, while rooms are tastefully modern and in the case of ours, vastly proportioned and with a sea view. It’s the kind of hotel which begs you to sit having afternoon tea, gazing out across the waves."
  Manchester Evening News

"The executive rooms are an impressive size ..the period sash windows provide breathtaking, uninterrupted views across the pebble beach and out to sea.
It would have been easy for the Imperial to fall into the trap that many seaside hotels do, simply catering for their older, longer standing guests, thereby isolating their future customers. It is not the case here . It seems, then, with a bit of effort, a hotel can be all things to all people. As well as being a comfy base, the Imperial is ideally situated for exploring the area."

  Yorkshire Evening Post

"The four-star hotel certainly lives up to its name and proved an ideal base to explore North Wales. The hotel has 98 bedrooms and ours had wonderful views out to sea – we were even provided with a telescope!"
